Maple, Design Assistant & Muse

hi! i'm anona orban.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm a Graphic Designer and Illustrator located in Frederick, MD. With 6 years of experience across print and web design, along with illustration, I bring both creativity and adaptability to every project I take on. I've had the privilege of designing custom souvenirs for attractions across the country, crafting polished proposals for the airport concession industry, building brands from scratch, and more! Through my diverse design experiences, I've built a versatile skill set that allows me to approach creative challenges with flexibility, heart, and a sharp eye for the nitty gritty details. My design approach is fun and whimsical. I really enjoy playing with color and patterns in order to give each design unique personality. I tend to also lean into more handmade and vintage aesthetics which add a bit more grit to my work.

I mostly work with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Procreate, but I am always striving to learn new things and broaden my horizons as a creative. I am a life-long learner and I truly believe I am capable of picking up on any new skill with the right amount of dedication. One example of something I am currently learning is UX/UI skills through the Google UX/UI course. I am looking forward to adding that to my tool belt in the near future.

When I'm not designing, I really enjoy watching thriller movies, knitting, crocheting, playing cozy video games, and spending time with my sweet golden doodle, Maple.
